Here I am showing one of my Frogman and Bunyip illustrations that I am actually happy with after a few tests. This little scene is the frogman having just run out of the water from the Bunyip, is resting on the bank and his wife is telling him that they are not safe, and he shouldn't rest just yet... and yes, she is right. Back to work for me.

The funny thing about this, I received this image when I was in Australia. I rushed this monkey to Australia, without his flowers screen printed on his chest, because they wanted it so urgently... that was, I am sure, over a year ago. Oh well. At least I have finally seen how they put him in the bag. I told them they could put him upside down. The completely finished image looks like this
Apart from that, I am getting cracking on my Moleskine, as well as my illustrations of the Aboriginal story, which, is in test phase, and the idea I did this morning is better than the images I did last week, so I feel a lot better now.

This is going to become a Gocco print when my tardy screens and bulbs arrive. The French must be holding them up somewhere. Shame.

More tarots of wrestling...

I am into this, I am grasped by a new form of desire to create!
I have stuff all over the flat, keep telling the man to stop putting stuff on surfaces... and then of course continue to do it myself. Ahhh, I can't help it.

Today I was generally the only person at the Atelier... sadly, only one screen had been exposed, so the immediate thought that I could print two colours instead of just one went out the window pretty quick, but it is still the holidays next week too, so maybe I'll have another chance. We organised the image from my previous post so it is ready to print. So not all is lost. Of course I did two images (at least) before I gave them the one I did), I hope to be able to do this image, in a more fleshed out version during the workshop.
