Two Hybrids V4 (close)

I have had this PDF loitering on my computer for a little while, thinking whether I wanted to give away where I put the pins (or brads) in my beasts.
So here it is: PDF: Where to put those brads : pins

Go forth and be not confused any longer.

long time...

RabbitShapedmonster-04

This little monster plate is exactly how I feel about my blog at the moment. I have been occasionally coming over here, removing spam, and thinking I have nothing very interesting to say about anything... so I have just gone away and stayed silent. Obviously twitter hasn't been so quiet. Hoping to get something good out of the next few days.

Hinged Ariane

This is a little in family commissioned piece for my niece who loves horses.
I await brads to finish them off (they will be two separate pieces, that I will frame when I get to France).

I impatiently await my printed hinged beasts, my mass of brads and cello bags to put the whole caboodle in. I hope to have it all by Friday. Hope. It is only Wednesday, should be good.

Bird In The Hand

Sea Man Hinged

I finally got my hands on some brads, chopped away and now have, well kind of have, one I am no longer in possession of... but I am very pleased with my sea beastie. I am looking forward to my weekend, (starting tomorrow), and doing some more.
These creatures are goauche on thick handmade water colour paper (paper from the Burnie Maker's Workshop no less). Maybe I'll print some, but I am not so sure as yet.

Ooli's moleskine breaks the drought

Ooli's MolyX71 (detail)

(this is a detail of the full piece)

Despite that second room, which is supposedly our "study" being an absolute pigsty, no storage, books in piles on the floor (because I needed to find a few of them) mess... I don't actually like being in there to be honest, but I am slowly getting use to it (this weekend is D-Day for mess and should be all sorted with new, long desk and a bit of storage for the materials I have everywhere)...

So digression...
I have a pile of moleskines on my desk running upto about 10. Some are mine waiting to be sent off, some are other people's that I should be working in and sending off. Oppsie!
So I picked one at random and found myself with a book from one of my favourite exchanges MolyX-71 : the music exchange. Ooli's choice of music is Asa Chang & Junray

A little quirky and crazy. She supplied us with the album Tsu Gi Ne Pu as well, with it's mix of Japanese and Indian musical styles. This is my entry.

Next moleskine is? Or maybe I should start Catherine Campbell's piece that I am looking at with a very terrified look on my face. What if I mess it up?
