10,000 Robins come marching over the hill...
Tuesday, February 2, 2010, 12:37 AM - General, Relationships, Animals, Work (The Man), Art/Design, Illustration, Moleskine, Moleskine Exchanges
For some reason, the Mr Floppy song was the inspiration for this piece originally... I had in my head to make an army of mark wearing monsters, but I stopped at four. I know, I know, I was making my life simpler (perhaps laziness?) I am just getting back into working for myself after doing 10 straight (exhausting) days working in the restaurant. Hurrah for new staff!
In case you forget the song:
This is part of The Moleskine Exchange: Portrait Party
... back to work...

Monster I live with...

I think I have him this time. Perhaps because I look at him all the time, makes it harder to capture him the way I want?

Gocco Invites seem to be finished
Wednesday, January 13, 2010, 08:06 AM - General, Relationships, Animals, Art/Design, Illustration, Gocco, Stores: Etsy, Blue House
These are the finished Gocco printed invites done for a Pulp here in Sydney. I haven't given her the red birdy ones yet. She wanted something, originally, the kids could colour before they were given out... so I did a compromise. Bit of colour, bit of space for additions.

Wishlist Wednesday
Wednesday, January 13, 2010, 07:53 AM - General, Relationships, Art/Design, Stores: Etsy, Blue House
Today is full of colour:
Amanda Blake (thisisalliknow) (I could buy out the whole of Amanda's store). This is for a custom portrait.
Next to her is a Diana Tote by Cutcopycreate. (Surprised?).
Under that some crazy pom pom love by PartyPoms, which colours to choose?
Then a gorgeous paper cut by papercutdiecut (frame not included); and lastly,
The Prankster by naughtyandnice. This is an original piece.
