Spring powered attack pug, with extra butting defense power...

I finally finished this today, 10:30pm while watching 12 Monkeys I stuck his little antlers on. I shouldn't watch stuff like that, but I can't help it, it freaks me out slightly, like that horrid 28 Days Later , I really wish I didn't see that film.

I did see something amazing in The Sydney Morning Herald the other day:

Even though I didn't like how they said they got these images (inserting a camera into the uterus),
it is an amazing photo.

crazy monkeys... surprise!

The other day I was watching a BBC documentary about primates. This is inspired by the Sifaka Lemurs when they are on the ground. You can see some photos here or here, and how they "dance" (because they are made for jumping not walking), but at the same time, I took some liberties, and well, I don't think they would be tossing their babies about, but... that's what came out.
We have been doing some research into perhaps going to Madagascar next year once my man finishes work. He can surf and perhaps I can do some type of volunteer work with conservation / wildlife, so we see. We are still in research mode.

I would never say this normally, but what a crap subject!
Very uninspiring.
I am going to give thanks, not for a harvest, or the murder of a turkey on "Happy Turkey Day" (yeah right), but for my crazy mind that springs these type of images for me while asleep. Those are my (now dead and very conceptualized) boys swimming with "me".
Perhaps I should post some of the other work I did this week this weekend? I have managed to work for me despite what seemed to be a long, troubled week.

So today, between working (which is where I am now), I created a page on Coroflot (seen above).
Plus I was also told that my Start a Story Flow Chart Adventure was up on the web. Fun fun. I am not feeling so low today about getting somewhere.

dilemma, what to do?
Tuesday, November 7, 2006, 08:28 AM - Art/Design, Illustration

So, I have been reading the Artist's & Graphic Designer's Market (2006) to see what I can accomplish. This books was suggested to me to get an idea of where to start, but in fact, I have become a little overwhelmed. Do I contact people directly or do I get myself a rep? Do I actually have a style or do I seem to change with how the mood takes me? I am trying not to let it get to me, I am calmly going through the book, marking it up, deciding who to contact... it is good, but I guess I worry that I am not cut out for it. But what am I cut out to do if not this?
I'll be fine, I am in the discovery process for the moment. I know perhaps I'll buy the more updated version when I am in Canada, but this is a good start. I worry my style has become to cutesy (I think this results a little from trying to shut out the crap and mess that the human race has created in the world). But at the same time I don't think I am locked into painting smiling and dancing monkeys. Anyone got any feedback?
