So, after spilling tea all over my desk the other night and carrying this piece of paper around with me for weeks (perhaps not weeks but it was folded in half): I have finally finished my Flow Chart adventure. I was pleased this was the only thing that was marked by the wayward tea. I had a strange clumsy day that day.

So after my poor effort last week, even though I thought about my poor effort all week... nothing changed, even though I did tons of other work.
So we have our ghost. I wanted to make the background darker, but, I have a bad habit of going too far sometimes. So I stop there.

I just found this site this morning: damn! I love this piece. I am glad I saw it before I kept painting over antique photos. He has another image called Partridge , that I would love to own.
It has a bird in it... surprise!
See his site: Chris Buzelli
Added: So, my man, who happens to be in Bulgaria at the moment, just called me and gave me crap about thinking I couldn't paint over old photos anymore... I never said that, I just said that I have done it, a simular idea (giving them kind of a new head), and I was glad I had seen these.

The weekend saw the start of Lille 3000 with a parade down Rue Faidherbe where we have elephants at the moment standing guard. I scanned this photo from the paper, that is why it might look a little strange. I saw almost nothing on the night, and in fact we left after an hour, but we did see some interesting exhibitions at the Tripostal and Le Fresnoy. We also bought a season pass, so we can go back whenever we want, plus see some new things too.

I saw a panda smoking something (perhaps bamboo, he looked damn guilty that's for sure!), I've seen naughty children... I was wondering what was eventually going to pop into my head. Of course a monkey at first, but then, we have those cheeky cockatoos from Australia, that I miss seeing... they are definately trouble. I took two photos tonight, as it shows everything, they both have nice qualities.
Speaking of birds, on All In The Mind this week, they had an interesting program about birds and their ability to learn. Seems "bird brain" cannot apply here. Really interesting.
