I was in Pulp Creative Paper the other day and heard wind that my colouring books were featured in the paper, even a little name drop... I have a scan!
They have also mentioned Pauline Kosak's "Sydney Road". I shared a house with her and daughter when I was about 10 years old, so nice to see her mentioned as well.

I was contacted by InStyle last week about my monoprints, mainly because they are on "recycled" book pages. We see what it brings. They will have five to see in person this week and perhaps re-photograph. Exciting.

The mess is coming together

The monoprint part is relatively fast compared to the length of time I take on each monster, depending on their needs. I managed to do six today (some not in this photo) but I am accumulating a very fabulous motley crew of beasts. They will be first available at Finders Keepers in Sydney May 7 & 8.

I just thought I would take a photo of my desk at the moment, I keep sitting down and doing a few more monoprints and just pile them up around me to dry. They are on the struts under the desk, on top of things in the room... very tidy! "Not I said the pig". (Note I live in a rather small "granny" style flat and my desk is in the corner of the living room, pretty).
Yeah we got into Finders Keepers as well with Pocket Carnival and flossy-p. We will be sharing a nice, big stall together, so come and say hello to us.
And, we have eggs! (all the way from the man's grandmother in France). Balances out all the mess (kind of).
