Exciting post day today.
I received a gift I bought for a friend from Elly Oak, Zines from Café Royale, Wil's Moleskine for the Moleskine Exchange 71, Tons of card to make invites for Pulp Creative Paper, a very surprise letter from Marina of her gorgeous New Year postcards and lastly I have yet to tackle the Gocco print I did last night. I may use this image for the invites making him all the same colour for the line and creating a new screen to add colour. These ones are getting hand coloured. If you come to the Kirribilli Markets on Sunday (if you live in Sydney), you may see them.

Marty's Portrait

Happy New Year people, may it bring all wonderful things and more to you all.

The above image is my most recent addition to the Moleskine Exchanges Portrait Party, this one is Marty... he has many references to raccoons all over the place, so he is a very chubby, furry little raccoon monster.

Moly-X71: Marina's

I had two moleskines on my desk (one a bit longer than this one), and today, as I have been at home for a few days, (starting to rattle about a bit now), I decided to just put on the album, in this case it was At Home by Avishai Cohen. It was very automatic and hope Marina is happy with it.

Carl Stalling influences moleskine creation

Carl Stalling influences moleskine creation.

I am in my second week in France. I have finished this moleskine and am almost done with Kerstin's. I still haven't started my "Three Billy goats Gruff" for the Once Upon Exhibition. In fact it is stewing in my head and I am starting to get a little stressed about it. I bought some paper to start it the other day, and I think I am going to have to buy some other paper, as I am concerned about the size and that I'll go overboard and forget it needs to be A5. So, starting with an A5 to begin with is a better idea. In between those thoughts, we have Finders Keepers and the organisation of my stall, items and the thing hanging over my head... public liability insurance. I don't understand what people could do on a stall of art, perhaps poke their eye out with a postcard? I find the whole not taking responsibility for your own actions baffling, but that is how it is.

It is starting to get a bit stressful that my Etsy store is closed too... I think I am going to reopen it soon.

Moleskine Exchange 6 & 71

Feel like I have been sitting in the house since getting to France. At least I can draw and paint without people asking me what I am doing. Bonus!
