I am completely distracted thinking about moving house, packing boxes... all that horrid stuff (I really should sort that bookshelf and throw stuff out... but...)
I received my much needed Gocco bulbs this week, which gave me a very good reason to make a new print. Of course I plan to colour them and add to them in their raw state. Looking forward to doing that.

Sweets Workshop opening

This Saturday just passed was the official opening of Sweets Workshop in Summer Hill in Sydney. The gallery was packed with lovely pieces that Emma and John had collected from mainly Sydney. I was very happy to be a part of it. They also have their first exhibition up called My Goodness, My Gocco. Very nice indeed.

no postage sale and hiding from the foul weather

Anyone got a very large umbrella that can cover my whole suburb? Or perhaps a wind machine that can blow the clouds just over the dam and let us be for a few days?
Anyway...
Until the end of June I have decided to have a no postage sale in my Etsy Store. Some nice little savings to be had there.

yesterday, I had a very productive day

I woke up at 5:30am and started... I sprayed the start of my stall furniture, that I hope to be able to have as normal furniture in my house perhaps, so it isn't just in the way. I monoprinted (a couple commissioned), finished hand painting my Gocco print, tried to clean up a bit, gave up, cut up cardboard and packed up some larger screen prints, made some packs with my Colouring book and one of my newest Gocco prints to be sold at the market. Maybe I'll interchange it with another print as well. We see.
Big plans still for today. Day is young yet.

Gocco in progress

I printed this Gocco yesterday, with the idea in my head, without kidding myself, that I would paint a little over the top (making each one a little bit different, even though it is an edition). I am thinking of making a few of these a little package with a my Monster colouring book with something else too especially, firstly shall we say, available at Finders Keepers next weekend. Still thinking about that third piece. Another added page in the book? Time permitting of course.
