Not quite yet, but I am enjoying doing something a little silly.
two fish, eyes covered

I feel like I am more relaxed now and getting back into working. A old friend of mine (who I would hope knows me pretty well after all the years we have known each other), tried to convince me that it was good to "have a block" and to even take a break instead of torturing yourself the whole time. Says she.
Obviously I live on stress. I took rescue remedy for three days running, I was certainly very nice to everyone despite feeling underneath something wasn't right... and promptly got a fabulous head cold. Ok, seems I was stressed. I was given a fake award at the end of school for keeping the highest level of constant stress over the whole year. So it isn't anything new.
On that note, the This Little Teapot exhibition has been pushed out to march 23 considering there seemed to be a problem with the delivery of the teapots. I only received mine this week... so sadly, I won't see the exhibition at all (being in France at the time), but it will be at Paper Plane Gallery in Rozelle (Sydney). The two fish will possibly be there. So far that is my idea... all fish, as usual.
Nesting Dolls version 3
Tuesday, March 1, 2011, 12:15 PM - Art/Design, Illustration
I was looking at and adding a little at a time to this set of nesting dolls until finally today I feel like I am done. I did make a little error while putting the third largest together (the gold one with the mountains), I took the photos with some of the mountains out of alignment. Silly.
one more monster in my army

Yesterday I removed two more things from my desk that I really should have finished a while ago. This little beast, that had no arms, face or cloak for about 3 to 4 weeks. Kept appearing in my photos in it's nude state. Yesterday, I just did it. Now while I wait for some things to dry in there now, I have some more plans for working today.
First step of collaboration... done!

See what happens when two people collaborate?
This is the first (well, we are talking about more) of a bunch of collaboratve pieces between Catherine and myself.
On the left is Catherine's piece she sent me, right, my beasts turned two ladies called Lucy & Maud (like her goats it seems).
Can't wait to do more.
