Marty's Portrait

Happy New Year people, may it bring all wonderful things and more to you all.

The above image is my most recent addition to the Moleskine Exchanges Portrait Party, this one is Marty... he has many references to raccoons all over the place, so he is a very chubby, furry little raccoon monster.

Pioneer

I have this idea, and today, Illustration Friday coincided with my idea. I have been monsterising people I know with the idea of offering a form of monster portrait as something I do. Could be a bit kitschy, but... we see. The above is my man.

This one is my sister Maddie:

Monster Called Maddie

She loved it, she tells me.

Moly-X71: Marina's

I had two moleskines on my desk (one a bit longer than this one), and today, as I have been at home for a few days, (starting to rattle about a bit now), I decided to just put on the album, in this case it was At Home by Avishai Cohen. It was very automatic and hope Marina is happy with it.

Lots of Gifts...
Wednesday, December 16, 2009, 02:09 AM - Relationships, Art/Design, Illustration

This week, I have been receiving lots of gifts in the mail. Knowing who I sent the art exchange email to, I know where these contacts are coming from.
I received some wonderful pieces from Tim Danko, whose work I have admired from afar for a long time. A Little Mo swap, and lastly:

from braddock ummm... "have a nice day". Very cheeky.
